{"id":14890,"date":"2020-08-26T17:56:25","date_gmt":"2020-08-26T15:56:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vodnaagencija.org\/?p=14890"},"modified":"2020-09-04T15:05:47","modified_gmt":"2020-09-04T13:05:47","slug":"call-for-applications-for-international-festival-of-educational-programs-on-water-protection-wep-effect-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vodnaagencija.org\/en\/call-for-applications-for-international-festival-of-educational-programs-on-water-protection-wep-effect-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for applications for International Festival of Educational Programs on Water Protection \u2013  WEP EFFECT 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vodnaagencija.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/WEP-EFFECT-2020-call-for-applications.pdf\">WEP EFFECT 2020 call for applications<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vodnaagencija.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Application-form-WEP-EFFECT-2020.docx\">Application form &#8211; WEP EFFECT 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Call propositions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The festival is open to public utilities and other public companies dealing with water and waste management.<\/li>\n<li>The content of the material must be intended for education, information and awareness of the population about the importance of protection of (drinking) water, its rational use, wastewater treatment, collection of edible oil and the like.<\/li>\n<li>The materials were prepared or. activities carried out in 2018-2020.<\/li>\n<li>The materials must be the copyright of a municipal or other public company or have acquired rights to use the materials for their own purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Materials must be sent in electronic form to <a href=\"mailto:festival@vodnaagencija.org\">festival@vodnaagencija.org<\/a> no later than September 14th 2020<\/li>\n<li>Each utility and other organization can participate with a maximum of three materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Materials classified in the following <strong>four categories<\/strong> can participate in the festival (each of the categories will be evaluated separately):<\/p>\n<p>1 <strong>Printed material<\/strong>\u00a0 (brochures, picture books, workbooks, leaflets ).<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.Video material<\/strong> (animated film, video, video game ).<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.Phone or computer application<\/strong>, <strong>educational web page<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.Theatrical performance, mascot and the similar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Each material must be accompanied by the following information (application form):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vodnaagencija.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Application-form-WEP-EFFECT-2020.docx\">Application form &#8211; WEP EFFECT 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; name and address of the applicant,<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; title or naming of materials,<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; category to which you are submitting material (1-4),<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; short presentation of the material (up to 2000 characters with spaces).<\/p>\n<p>Materials have to be sent by <strong>September 14th , 2020<\/strong>, in accordance with the Call propositions.<\/p>\n<p>Only materials related with the Call propositions\u00a0 can participate in the festival. Materials that do not related with the Call propositions\u00a0 or arrive too late will be excluded from the evaluation. Materials participating in the festival may not contain copyrighted materials (texts, photographs, music), unless you have acquired the necessary rights from the authors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evaluation criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>-the material is related with the Call propositions <strong>(YES \/ NO)<\/strong>; \u00a0in the case of <strong>NO<\/strong>, the material is excluded from further evaluation;<\/p>\n<p>-the \u00a0material engagement (clear message, addresses the target audience\u2026; <strong>up to 15 points<\/strong>);<\/p>\n<p>-quality of material (linguistic correctness, design, technical workmanship, aesthetic appearance\u2026; <strong>up to 15 points<\/strong>),<\/p>\n<p>-content design (professional correctness, didactic value\u2026; <strong>up to 25 points<\/strong>),<\/p>\n<p>-originality of the idea (innovativeness of the idea and realization\u2026; <strong>up to 20 points<\/strong>),<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; target group (youth 6 points, general public <strong>10 points<\/strong>),<\/p>\n<p>-Involvement of educational institutions (kindergartens, schools,\u2026; <strong>up to 15 points<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maximum number of possible points 100.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The evaluation will take place separately for all four tendered categories. The best two materials from each category will be publicly presented at the <strong>International Festival WEP EFFECT 2020<\/strong>\u00a0 on <strong>Friday, September 25th, 2020<\/strong> at the Cultural Center in Roga\u0161ka Slatina. Depending on the situation with COVID-19, the organizer of the Festival, the Water Agency Association, reserves the right to conduct the festival in part or in full remotely via videoconference\/hybrid, of which it will inform all participants in a timely manner. An award would be given in each category and the main prize of the Festival WEP EFFECT 2020.
