The WATER 2026 Festival took place on March 20, 2026, in Rogaška Slatina and was dedicated to the creative exploration of water as one of the most valuable natural resources.
We are aware that an increasing number of people around the world are facing a shortage of clean drinking water. With rapid population growth and rising pollution, the responsible management of water resources is becoming ever more important. Through the festival, we aimed to highlight the invaluable role of water.
As part of the festival, we encouraged children, young people, and other creators to express their relationship with water through art. Through music, literature, visual arts, and video creation, participants shared their perspectives, thoughts, and feelings about this essential resource.
Participants were invited to submit their work in various categories, including music, literature, visual arts, and video content, thereby contributing to raising awareness about the importance of responsible water use.
With the festival, we created a space for creativity, connection, and reflection on the future of our environment, as water remains the foundation of life on our planet.
